The James Corden Show puts together Nicki Minaj and Adele for a mashup duet of Nicki’s verse in Kanye West’s hit Monster
The Nicki Minaj and Adele hysterical mashup: James Corden and Nicki Minaj took a drive around Los Angeles this week to sing some of her biggest hits from “Anaconda” to “Super Bass” in the latest episode of Carpool Karaoke.
In this extended version of their drive James asks Nicki about the balance between her confidence and her anxieties and how her career has changed with time and becoming a mother. And after flexing her incredible British accent, she karaoked to her verse in Kanye West’s song Monster.
Production team went back to 2016 when Adele was the guest on Carpool Karaoke, and floored everyone with a perfect recite of the song and threw some of the footage in Nicki version. The result, production team tweeted later, is the ‘mashup the world deserves.’

Back in 2016, Nicki Minaj has commented on Adele‘s Carpool Karaoke appearance on Twitter. “Adele is mad ratchet. I can’t take her #UK #WutsGood,” the star tweeted.
Minaj also reflected on Adele during her Carpool Karaoke, “I just loved it, she made me so happy. She embodied Nicki Minaj,” she said.
